Arthur Bishop (Jason Statham) is a "mechanic" - an elite assassin with a strict code and a unique talent for clean elimination of targets. This is a job that requires professional perfection and total alienation, and Bishop is the best in the business. But when his mentor and good friend Harry (Donald Sutherland) was killed, Bishop is anything but detached. His next assignment is self-imposed - he wants those responsible are dead. His mission grows complicated when Harry's son Steve (Ben Foster) approaches him with the same vengeful purpose and a determination Bishop's trade to learn. Bishop had always acted alone, but he can not turn his back on Harry's son. A methodical man hit neem'n impulsive student deep into his world and a deadly partnership was born.
