Description of The lord of the Rings : The returns the king
Sauron's forces laid siege to Minas Tirith, the capital of Gondor, in their efforts to eliminate competition in the men. The once-great kingdom, watched over by a fading steward, has never been more desperate need of a king. But is it Aragorn answer the call of his heritage and become what was that? No small extent, the fate of Middle-earth rests on his broad shoulders. The final battle joined and the legions of darkness gathering, Gandalf urgently tries to rally Gondor broken army to action. He is assisted by the King Théoden of Rohan, who unites his warriors for history's greatest test. But also the courage and passionate loyalty, the forces of men - the Éowyn and Merry hidden among them - did not match the enemies swarming against Gondor. Yet, in the face of great losses, they charge forward into the battle of their lives, connect their sole purpose is to keep Sauron distracted and give the Ring Bearer a chance to complete the mission. Hopes rest with Frodo, a tiny but determined hobbit that is a dangerous trip across treacherous enemy lands to cast the One Ring in the fires of Mount Doom. The closer Frodo gets to the final destination, the greater the burden will be and the more it must rely on Samwise Gamgee. Gollum - and the Ring as well - will test Frodo's allegiances and, ultimately, humanity.
